Venusta Queen of the Prairie is a tall herbaceous perennial with sturdy upright stems and lacy dark green foliage. Airy clusters of deep pink flowers bloom in early summer before fading to soft pink. Blooms best with afternoon shade in the South and fertile consistently wet well-drained soil.
