Feeding Directions

Home Fresh 20 Goat Start & Grow HE 20R is a pelleted complete medicated feed for starting and growing goats. Feed Home Fresh 20 Goat Start & Grow HE 20R continuously as the sole diet to goat beginning at 2 weeks of age up to 6 months of age. Suggested daily feeding rates of 1.5% to 3.0% of body weight will depend on age and production goals.

Feed with good quality forage and fresh water at all times.

The suggested feeding program is intended solely as a guide. The variables of management, environment and breed may dictate changes in the animal’s dietary requirements. Do not exceed 0.3 ppm Se in the total diet.

Warning

Do not feed to sheep due to their copper sensitivity. Do not feed to pygmy goats.

Caution

Do not allow horses or other equines access to feeds containing Monensin. Ingestion of Monensin by horses has been fatal. Monensin-medicated cattle and goat feeds are safe for use in cattle and goats only. Consumption by unapproved species may result in toxic reactions. Do not exceed the levels of Monensin recommended in the feeding directions, as reduced average daily gains may result. Do not feed to lactating goats.
