Huron Dogwood is a compact native deciduous shrub with a tidy rounded habit and rich grey-green foliage that turns burgundy red in fall.  The terminal stems are red-orange and work as winter interest after the leaves drop.  Its white flower clusters bloom in late spring and are followed by attractive white fruits favored by birds.  Prefers part sun and slightly acidic, moist, well-drained soil.
