An early blooming shrub form tart cherry.

Tree Features:

   Bloom Color: White 
   Bloom Time: mid Spring
   Mature Height: 6-8 ft
   Mature Spread: 4-5 ft
   Harvest: Oversized fruit in late August

   Pollination: Self-pollinating, but cross-pollination by a different variety of mid Spring bloom cherry tree within 50 feet will bear more fruit.

Other notes:

  • Extremely cold hardy
  • Oval-shaped leaves that are glossy green and turn yellow in the fall
  • It's highly tolerant of urban pollution

    Care:

    • Feed twice a year with a slow release fertilizer. Fertilize in early spring before growth starts and late fall after the leaves have fallen and the ground isn't yet frozen. (5 minutes of work)
    • Prune in late winter to remove crossing branches and promote good airflow to encourage fruiting. (5-10 minutes of work) our tree. 
    • The Cupid cherry tree prefers moist, well-drained soil, but can tolerate a variety of soil types and pH levels.
