Double Play Gold Spirea is a dense mounding deciduous shrub with oval sharp-toothed leaves that are bright gold and matures to chartreuse before turning orange and red in fall.  Flat-topped clusters of hot pink flowers cover the plant in later spring to summer. Grows best in full sun and well-drained soils.  Removed spent flowers to encourage additional bloom.
