Chinese Wild Ginger is a shade loving semi-evergreen perennial grown as a groundcover for its nearly stemless, elongated heart shaped dark green foliage with silver mottling. The flowers are insignificant and hidden below the foliage. Grows best with heavy shade and consistently moist well-drained acidic soils.
