This Black Beauty lawn grass has been custom mixed for successful fall seeding. This mixture is great to use on established lawns or to start new lawns from scratch. Repairs summer damage and provides an attractive, thicker, greener lawn. Use Black Beauty® Fall Magic™ in sun and shade lawn areas.  The mix contains several grass types, including Black Beauty® tall fescues. 

This cool season grass mix is ideal for Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New England.

When to apply:

• August-October
  • The best time of the year to plant grass for Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Southern New England is around the Labor Day Holiday weekend. 
  • September is the best month to plant grass seed because the soil is warm from the summer heat, the days are cooler, the summer droughts have usually passed, and there is less competition from weeds than in the Spring.
