Ice Ballet Swamp Milkweed is an upright native perennial often found in swamps, rivers, and wet meadows with green lance-like leaves. Tight clusters of small, fragrant white flowers come bloom in late spring to summer. Performs best in full sun and moist to wet soils, but can tolerate average soils. The milky sap released from damaged stems is toxic if ingested.
