Brunette Bugbane is a striking perennial plant that is known for its deep purple-black foliage. Its tall, fragrant white flower spikes provide striking contrast against the foliage in late summer and fall.

It prefers part shade to full shade and thrives best in moist, well-drained soils. Brunette Bugbane is a great choice for woodland gardens, shaded borders, or other areas of the landscape that receive less sunlight.
