The Cardinal is everyone's favorite bird!
Cardinals prefer eating from tray or platform feeders with a perch and sheltered roof to provide protection to the food.
They like an open area but close to shrubs or trees to provide safety.
Cardinals love large seeds like Safflower & Sunflower that they can crack open with their large bills.
