Crimson Comet Buttonbush is a large native multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a mounded habit. Its glossy green foliage that emerges with orange tints and turns warm shades of orange and red in fall. The sweetly fragrant white flower clusters resembling pincushions in mid summer are followed by attractive red seedpods. Prefers rich, moist to wet and well-drained soils.
