- SEED DEPTH: 1 inch
- SEED SPACING: 1 1/2 inches apart in rows 2 feet apart
- EMERGES: 6-10 days
- MATURES: 52 days
SOWING:
- Plant seed outdoors starting in late spring after the ground has warmed.
- Do not rush the planting, as a few cold wet days at planting time may cause the seeds to rot in the ground.
- Plant seeds 1 1/2 inches apart in rows 2 feet apart.
- Cover seeds with 1 inch of fine soil firmly pressed and watered in.
GERMINATION:
- Germinated in 6-10 days depending on soil and weather conditions.
THINNING:
- When plants are 3-4 inches high, space so that the mature plants will be 12-16 inches apart in all direction.
NOTES:
- Succession planting a few seeds every 3 weeks will keep you in beans all season.
