This small leaf basil is a favorite because of its unique lemon flavor.
- The plants produce leaves that are good in salads, fruit salads, vegetable dishes and with fish.
- Can be easily grown in pots or containers either indoors or outside.

- SEED DEPTH: 1/8 inch
- SEED SPACING: 1/2 inch apart in rows 2 feet apart
- EMERGES: 7-14 days
- MATURES: 40 days
SOWING:
- Plant seed outdoors after all danger of frost is past.
- Can start indoors 4-6 weeks earlier.
- Plant in rows 2 feet apart spacing seed 1/2 inch apart in the row.
- Cover with 1/8 inch fine soil, well pressed down.
- Keep soil moist until plants start to grow.
GERMINATION:
- Germinates in 7-14 days depending on soil and weather conditions.
THINNING:
- When plants are 3-5 inches high thin or transplant 1 foot apart in the row.
NOTES:
- Lower leaves are picked allowing newer leaves to grow.
- Makes an attractive addition to the flower bed.
