- SEED DEPTH: 1/4 inch
- SEED SPACING: 1/2 inch apart in rows 4-6 inches apart
- EMERGES: 1-2 weeks
- MATURE HEIGHT: 1 1/2 feet
SOWING:
- Plant outdoors as soon as the ground can be worked.
- Can plant as late as mid-summer.
- Cover seed with 1/4 inch of fine soil, well pressed down.
- Do not cover seeds deeply.
- May also start indoors in March or April.
GERMINATION:
- Germinated in 1-2 weeks depending on soil and weather conditions.
THINNING:
- When plants are 3-4 inches high, thin or transplant to 12 inches apart in the row.
NOTES:
- Thrives in cool temperatures but satisfactory results may be obtained by sowing as late as early July.
