• SEED DEPTH: 1/4 inch
• SEED SPACING: 1/2 inch apart in rows 4-6 inches apart
• EMERGES: 1-2 weeks
• MATURE HEIGHT: 1 1/2 feet

SOWING:

• Plant outdoors as soon as the ground can be worked.
• Can plant as late as mid-summer.
• Cover seed with 1/4 inch of fine soil, well pressed down.
  
• Do not cover seeds deeply.
  
• May also start indoors in March or April.

GERMINATION:

• Germinated in 1-2 weeks depending on soil and weather conditions.

THINNING:

• When plants are 3-4 inches high, thin or transplant to 12 inches apart in the row.
  

NOTES:

• Thrives in cool temperatures but satisfactory results may be obtained by sowing as late as early July.
