SOWING:
- Plant outdoors as soon as the ground can be worked.
- Can start indoors 4-6 weeks earlier.
- Cover seed with 1/8 inch of fine soil, well pressed down - darkness aids germination.
GERMINATION:
- Germinated in 5-10 days depending on soil and weather conditions.
THINNING:
- When plants are 3-4 inches high, thin or transplant to 12-15 inches apart.
NOTES:
- This kind is often found in wildflower mixes as it is widely adapted.
- May be planted as late as early July.
- Makes an excellent background with Zinnias and Hollyhocks.
