Each spray of tiny white blossoms forms a cloud.

  • Botanical name - gypophila elegans - means "gypsum loving", indicating the plants prefer a sweet soil.
  • Plants bear numerous sprays of tiny white blossoms that are almost devoid of foliage.
  • Frequently used for cutting and combining in bouquets with other flowers.
  • Easy to grow.

  • SEED DEPTH: 1/4 inch

SOWING:

  • Prefers full sun and well limed soil.
  • Plant seeds directly outdoors in early spring.
  • Cover with 1/4 inch of fine soil - do not cover seeds too deeply.
  • Plant every 3 weeks for continuous bloom throughout the summer.

    GERMINATION:

    • Germinated in 10-14 days depending on soil and weather conditions.

    THINNING:

    • Thin to 12 inches apart.
